About AFPRES

This community is not just a church, it’s a family. We care! As the oldest standing Christian church in Utah County, we are invested deeply in the local community! Every day of the week our church is open for various support groups: women’s groups, prayer groups, bible study groups, Widow & Widower grief support groups, three different twelve-step groups (SA, FA, and CA), as well as Circles poverty relief groups. These all occupy our building 7 out of 7 days of the week. In addition to this, we sponsor and support boy scout and venture troops, we take donations to the Lindon Senior Center twice a week and cook food for the American Fork Fire Department monthly. We donate monthly to Tabitha’s Way (Food Pantry) and have several members who volunteer there on a weekly basis. We also have an independently run private non-denominational Christian school running in our education building.

We would love to introduce ourselves to you and share with you what we stand for as a church. We have a statement of faith that reflects who we are and what we believe in as an individual church, as well as the Presbyterian statement of faith that reflects the beliefs and principles of the denomination as a whole. Both can be accessed here.

If you’d like to know who’s on our leadership team and what they are responsible for, please visit our pastor and staff page, to get to know us a little better!

Also, the pastor is happy to take time to meet you and get to know you as well. If you’d like to meet him, please give us a call so we can schedule an appointment with him for you. We’re a very transparent church and are more than happy to answer any questions you might have about our beliefs, our worship, our history and background etc. We would love to get to know you and connect to you. You can always join us for Sunday Morning Worship to get a better idea of what this church is like and whether it’s a good fit for you!
